My Mountain Light has done 300 kilometers of GR. It still has 1000 to go.

In brown on a Pyrenean trail or in the city after a hike, the Mountain Light creates an authentic outdoor look. The Mountain Light is Danner's most iconic boot – the one that redefined premium hiking when it first appeared in 1979. The first boot to integrate a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex bootie directly into its construction, it laid the groundwork for what a serious mountain shoe should be. Forty-five years later, nothing has fundamentally changed – that's the highest compliment one can pay it.

Constructed from premium Brown full-grain leather, with the Gore-Tex liner stitched directly to the upper before assembly, the Mountain Light offers waterproofing without compromising breathability. The Goodyear welt construction ensures longevity and resoling. The Vibram Kletterlift sole provides grip on wet rock as well as on muddy trails.
