The Fleurs de Bagne Vintage Marl Knit is a marl fabric t-shirt – marl is a fabric where threads of different colors are intertwined before weaving to create a mottled, slightly irregular surface, reminiscent of the appearance of old fabrics worn and washed dozens of times. In Navy Marl / Navy, the maritime hue blends two tones of blue for a unique depth effect.
Marl is one of the most authentically vintage textures there is – impossible to artificially reproduce, it results from a precise spinning process that gives each piece a slightly different natural irregularity. Fleurs de Bagne uses navy marl to evoke old sailor knits worn by saltwater and years of sailing.
