My Shetland Crewneck Mid Grey has been under my G9 since October. It will stay there until March.
In Mid Grey under a Navy G9 Harrington or a Tan Waxed G9, the Shetland Crewneck creates a classic British layering ensemble of natural elegance. In Andorra with raw denim and boots, the burgundy collar provides a warm chromatic touch that enlivens dark outfits.
Authentic Shetland wool from the islandsShetland wool comes from the islands of the same name in northern Scotland. Light, warm, and slightly rustic to the touch, it softens with each season to become the most comfortable sweater in your wardrobe.
Classic crew neck without excessThe Shetland Crewneck's round collar is moderately ribbed – neither too tight nor too loose. It fits under a shirt collar or a G9 without creating unwanted bulk.
Andorra — the British claretAndorra is a soft, deep red inspired by British cricket and rugby jumpers. Warm without being aggressive, it blends naturally with dark winter palettes and the natural tones of undyed wool.
Baracuta and Shetland WoolBaracuta uses authentic Shetland wool for its sweaters because it's the wool that best matches the brand's identity—British at heart, functional in construction.

The Shetland Crewneck is Baracuta's staple sweater — constructed from authentic Shetland wool from the eponymous islands north of Scotland. Shetland wool is renowned for its lightness, natural warmth, and how it behaves with wear: slightly rustic to the touch at first, it softens and develops character with the seasons to become more comfortable with each winter.
Three colours available — Mid Grey, Navy, Andorra — covering the neutral to slightly coloured spectrum of the men's winter wardrobe. Mid Grey is the characteristic heather grey of undyed Shetland wool. Navy is the deep marine reference. Andorra is a soft burgundy-red that follows the tradition of British cricket and rugby sweaters.
A sweater uncompromising on material, for those who wear real Shetland wool.
Available at L'Industrie boutique in Pau — 14 rue des Cordeliers.
