The Porton Showerproof Jacket is the most elaborate piece in the Barbour x Baracuta collaboration—a showerproof cotton jacket, constructed from a Brown Houndstooth fabric characteristic of northern England's textile heritage. Houndstooth is one of the oldest and most enduring patterns in British tweed.
In Brown Houndstooth, the jacket combines the light shower resistance of the showerproof treatment with the visible, rich texture of the checkered pattern. The cut is inspired by the G9—button-up collar, front zip—but adapted into a slightly longer and more formal silhouette. The lining features the two collaboration logos.
