TT Isle of Man, 1955. The jacket hasn't changed since.
Belstaff Centenary Racer Jacket — Black / British Khaki Men
Waxed cotton · Short motorcycle racer · Black / British Khaki centennial
Matière : Nylon technique premium
Heritage britannique · Cire de haute qualité · Depuis 1924
I don't ride a motorcycle. But I always look like I do with this jacket.
Over black jeans and buckle Chelsea boots, the Centenary Racer Jacket builds the perfect racer-heritage silhouette. In Black / British Khaki, it can be worn without any other supporting colours — it is self-sufficient. The collar zipped all the way up replaces the rollneck underneath for cold days.
The Centenary Racer Jacket is Belstaff's direct homage to the racers of the 1950s — those riders who wore Belstaff jackets on the Isle of Man TT circuits before the brand became a global phenomenon. A racing piece, tamed for the street without losing any of its origins.
In Black / British Khaki waxed cotton, it features the same techniques as the hundred-year-old Field Jacket but in a shorter, more fitted, more aggressive silhouette. The motorcycle collar fastened up to the neck, the characteristic asymmetric closure, and the reinforced elbow seams are the signatures of the racing jacket. Worn today, it has exactly the look expected of it — timeless, sharp, without excessive nostalgia.
Available at L'Industrie store in Pau — 14 rue des Cordeliers.
