Selvedge is the original form of denim weaving, predating modern high-speed looms — each yard takes two to three times longer to weave, but the fabric's density and regularity are unparalleled.
In Dry Dusk, the denim is raw with a slightly purple tint in the dark tones — the "dusk" that gives the dark color a rare chromatic dimension. At €200, it's the most expensive pair of jeans in the Nudie collection — and also the one that will develop the most spectacular and durable patina. The visible red selvedge ID on the turned-up hem is the distinguishing mark for those who know.
