The Shipyard Waxed Jacket is Danner's most ambitious outerwear piece — a waxed cotton jacket built with the same exacting standards as the brand's boots, named in homage to the shipyards that lined the Willamette River in Portland at the turn of the last century. A maritime-industrial heritage that imbues every construction decision of this piece.

In Tan / Bison — the natural beige of Tan and the deep brown of Bison (tanned bison hide) — the two-tone reproduces the hues of shipyard workers' workwear. The waxed cotton waterproofs and ages with wear — the wax enriches, the fabric develops a patina, and the jacket becomes unique to its wearer with the seasons. The tartan lining adds warmth without a synthetic membrane.
