The Jack II Black is the shoe I've been looking for since I stopped looking for sneakers.
In black with slim jeans and a cotton overshirt, the Jack II creates a clean and structured urban silhouette. With chino trousers and a shirt, it slightly elevates the look without being over the top. The low-profile Vibram sole remains visible and honest — no thin leather sole that slips on wet pavement.

The Jack II is Danner's most urban boot — a lower, sleeker silhouette, closer to a derby than a work boot, but with the construction and leather that characterize all of Portland's pieces. The Jack for those who want Danner without the height of the Moc Toe.
In full-grain black leather, the Jack II adopts the most sober and versatile shade in the range. The low-profile Vibram sole provides superior grip to the standard city sole while remaining discreet in the silhouette. The hybrid construction stitches and glues the sole for a thinner profile than the Goodyear welt while maintaining superior durability to standard city shoes.
